Southwest Ohio

Ohio's southwest region is a hotbed for the pharmaceutical sector of the bioscience industry. Regional anchor Cincinnati is home to the headquarters of consumer and pharmaceutical product developer and manufacturer Procter & Gamble Co. as well as the Genome Research Institute, a world-class research center dedicated to the discovery and early development of novel and commercially viable therapeutic applications.

Southwest Ohio is a strong financial services center, with Fifth Third Bancorp, American Financial, Western & Southern Financial and Ohio Casualty Group headquartered in the Cincinnati area.
